Papua New Guinea Pacific Forum Line shares presented to Samoa

At a recent gathering, the Pacific Heads of Mission group took the chance to recognise the transfer of shares in the Pacific Forum Line from the Government of Papua New Guinea to the Government of Samoa. In September last year the Government of Samoa purchased the multi-government run shipping line in a bid to maintain the economic development of all Pacific countries. His Excellency Mr William Dihm, High Commissioner of Papua New Guinea presented the Letters of Transfer of shares to the Samoa High Commissioner, Leasi Papali'i Tommy Scanlan. His Excellency Leasi Papali'i Tommy Scanlan took the opportunity to thank the Government of Papua New Guinea on behalf of the Government of Samoa highlighting that this was an illustration of close regional ties and cooperation between the two governments.
