A website to keep New Zealand based Samoans informed about the work of the Samoa High Commission of Wellington was launched on 25th Februrary 2013. This is the High Commission’s first ever website and features visa and passport information and applications. The development and launch of the website is a key output of the recently launched Corporate plan and aims to raise the awareness of the services that the High Commission provides. The High Commissioner believes the website will assist in streamlining the work of the mission. “Our office is open Mon – Fri 8.30am – 4.30pm and we find that many of the public enquiries are related to passports and visas. The website now offers the public the opportuntiy to access this information 24 hours/7 days a week.”
