Diplomatic Relations between Samoa and Poland were officially signed by our Permanent Representative to New York Ambassador Aliioaiga Feturi Elisaia and Ambassador Mr Witold Sobkow PR of the Republic of Poland on 8th March 2013 in New York. This marked the beginning of diplomatic relations between the two governments and aims to find opportunities to collaborate both regionally and internationally. To celebrate the signing, an event co-hosted by the Embassy of Poland and the Samoa High Commission was held in Auckland on 17th November. The Ambassador-designate of Poland to Samoa H.E Mrs Beata Stoczynska and High Commissioner Leasi both gave moving remarks during the event which was well attended by the Polish and Samoan community in Auckland.
