High Commissioner Leasi Papalii Scanlan hosted officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Fiji this morning that are here in Wellington as part of a capacity building attachment with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of New Zealand. The delegation has used the opportunity to call on members of the diplomatic Pacific Island Heads of Missions group that are established in Wellington to gain experience on the daily operation of each mission. The delegation was led by the director of the Oceania Division of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr Ropate Cabealawa and accompanied by four other senior officials.
