On Thursday, 16 July 2020, the Australian High Commissioner (HE Hon Patricia Forsythe) hosted the Pacific Heads of Mission for Lunch at the Australian Residence. The lunch was attended by all Pacific Heads of Missions including the Samoa High Commissioner (HE Leasi Papali’i Scanlan), as well as representatives from the host (Australia), New Zealand, United States, United Kingdom, Canada, France and Japan. The event provided an opportunity for the participants to discuss Pacific Initiatives, the effects of the Corona Virus on the Pacific and possible steps going forward.
