Members of the Diplomatic Corps on Friday last week were briefed about the upcoming United Nations Small Island Developing States (SIDS) Conference to be held in Samoa from 1-4 September 2014. Led by High Commissioner Leasi, it was an opportunity to communicate various logistical arrangements and more importantly to introduce the theme and the key partnership dialogues of the Conference.The briefing is part of the High Commissions efforts to raise awareness and gain the support of the Diplomatic Corps for the upcoming conference.
