Meeting with Pacific Cooperation Foundation (PCF)

On Thursday 21st January 2021, the Samoa High Commission hosted the Executive of the Pacific Cooperation Foundation (PCF) at a Meeting to discuss pertinent issues in relation to trade, education and employment opportunities between Samoa and New Zealand. The Management Consultant/ Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Pacific Cooperation Foundation (PCF), Afamasaga Jackie Curry, was accompanied by the Partnerships and Special Projects Officer, Ms. Laree Taula to the Meeting. The PCF established a branch in Wellington in September last year which is hoped to facilitate more active discussions with the Pacific Missions Diplomatic Corps in the Capital. The High Commissioner expressed his appreciation and gratitude towards PCF’s assistance towards Samoa and other Pacific Island Countries, more recently with a number of students in developing their skills and capacity through PCF Internship Programme in collaboration with NZ MFAT. The PCF plans to engage with the Pacific Heads of Mission to discuss ways to further improve the PCF’s service to Pacific Island Countries in the Region. The High Commissioner was accompanied at the Meeting by the Counsellor at the Samoa High Commission, Mr. Robert Niko Aiono.
