8th March 2013
Live in studio Tiatia Faamaile Vilai, Pauline Schmidt, Fiona Lene
Samoa High Commission staff were heard across the airwaves recently providing immigration and travel advice to listeners. The staff were featured guests on Samoa Capital Radios mid-morning show, where they joined experienced radio host and CEO Afamasaga Moresi. The hour long show provided staff with an opportunity to raise public awareness on passport and visa issues. "Participating in the show was a great chance for us to deliver important information to a large audience quickly. The response we received from callers made our experience worthwhile". The Samoa High Commissions participation in the mid-morning show is a key output of the High Commissions corporate plan to raise the profile of the mission and their services. The High Commission plans to feature on the mid-morning show on a quartely basis to continue to increase public awareness about the services they offer to the Samoan community.
