The Samoa High Commissioner and Dean of the Diplomatic Corps, H.E Leasi Papali’i T Scanlan hosted the Pacific Islands Heads of Mission meeting at his residence, 16 Hatton Street Karori on Friday 26th July 2019. At the meeting updates and key issues of interest from each of the countries were presented. There are eight Pacific Missions established in Wellington. These are; Cook Islands, Fiji, Niue, PNG, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tuvalu and Vanuatu. Mr Jonathan Kings, Deputy Secretary Pacific and Development Group from the NZ Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade was invited as Guest Speaker.
